4 Star Rating Excellent value for a certain type of gamer..
By: G. Capes "GraemeCaUK", on July 22, 2013
    Pros:
    Cons:

"This package is probably more for gamers of "a certain age" like myself, but for the target audience it represents amazing value both interms of content and monetary value. I worked out how much the whole package would cost to download individually from the XBL marketplace and it came to a whopping £65.

The games are definitely retro and can be brutally hard, but if you prize tight gameplay over cutting-edge graphics you'll find plenty to enjoy here, although there is a caveat - most...

2 Star Rating This "Reloaded" version neither taps into the magic of the original or compares with the best modern games on the PS3

4 Star Rating Very good but very difficult game
By: Innerspace, on August 15, 2011

"Ok... I read the reviews and bought the game anyway as it was cheap enough.

After about 10 minutes running around some pretty unimaginative offices and shooting with what sounded like a pea shooter I nearly put it away for good. I persevered and was glad I did.. this game is excellent, one of the best I've played.

Swinging around with the bionic arm and picking up and tossing cars, etc, at enemies was great fun.

The Biomechs and the Bosses are very hard to beat...

4 Star Rating Great gameplay, but a moronic plot...
By: Zoe Whitten, on September 23, 2009
    Pros:
    Cons:

"Fans of the original Bionic Commando will love this sequel and updates of the classic NES side scrolling platform shooter. Making the move to 3D easily, Bionic Commando captures the excitement of swinging and leaping across levels, fighting awesome enemies, and using fantastic weapons with their own unique benefits.

Unfortunately, the writing of the game leaves a lot to be desired. As is typical for modern games, "gritty" gameplay means that every five minutes or so, some character...

4 Star Rating A Misunderstood Game
By: Geraldo Nascimento, on August 30, 2009
    Pros:
    Cons:

"Bionic Commando is a misunderstood game.
Because it features a third person viewpoint, a lot of people mistook it for a simple third person shooter, but it's much more than that. There were complaints about lack of weapons, lack of ammo, lack of cover, lack of exploration. Well, this isn't a third person shooter, it's a generalized action game in which you ALSO get guns, but where your main weapon is the Bionic Arm.
Some complained also about the controls. Well, I don't know about the...
